_The Orchard Nearest the Heart of Indianapolis since 1925! Celebrating 90 years of serving the Greater Indianapolis Area!
Established in 1925 by George and Edith Adrian and currently in its 3rd generation of family ownership. Adrian Orchards is still the "Orchard nearest the Heart of Indianapolis" and home to the Guinness Record Holder for "World's Fastest Apple Picker" George J. Adrian. Currently owned and operated by George J. & Monika Adrian, Adrian Orchards is still providing the Crossroads of America with the finest apples, peaches, cider and more for 90 years and counting!
And did you know
Adrian Orchards is home to the Guinness World Record holder for the fastest apple picker?.... It’s true! George J. Adrian picked 365 ½ bushels (15,351.5 lbs) of apples in 8 hours on Sept. 23, 1980. His record still stands today.
It's GALA time...sweet, crunchy, and delicious! Almost everybody loves this delightful apple...good to eat and a fair baking apple, too. To keep your apples in top condition, remember to keep all apples refrigerated!
Some of you have been waiting for pears to start...our first variety is a luscious beauty named DAWN, a wonderful, creamy textured dessert pear. Come in and ask for a sample to set your taste buds on alert...they are truly divine...my all time favorite pear.
Take care...enjoy this fabulous weather...hope to see you soon.

For you sweet apple lovers, Mollies Delicious is the first sweet apple of the season. Red, crunchy and sweet, great eating only, not so much for cooking.
For you nectarine lovers, Red Gold from southern Indiana are here. There are HUGE, freestone and luscious Everything you can do with a peach, you can do with a nectarine except one thing...NO NEED TO PEEL...the peeling adds extra flavor to any recipe.
Time to try something new. Substitute nectarines for peaches and be prepared to be amazed and be prepared for the compliments! YUM YUM!
We have some new items on our shelves this season: Moonshine Jelly, Moonshine BBQ Sauce, Pot Roast Starter, Balsamic Sweet Onion Jam, Tex Mex Chili Starter, Traffic Jam, Hot BBQ Sauce, Jalapeno Ketchup, Bacon Ketchup, Habanero Ketchup and Blackberry and Cherry Cobbler in a jar and ready to eat. So be adventurous and try something new.

We now have Ginger Gold (my favorite summer apple), "there's a drink in every bite". We have had a lot of requests for this delicious eating apple. Not much for cooking but GREAT fresh...can you tell I like them?
Redfree (similar to Jonathan) and Paula Red (similar to McIntosh) are also still available. Lodi will be available on request, they will be kept in the cooler full time now. For a limited time we will have a yellow freestone peach called Contender. They are from the 6 trees we have on our farm in Waverly. They are beautiful and delicious, But are in very limited supply! George is very proud of these as they have been frozen out the last several years. These trees are on a ridge and the tops of the trees had these beauties.
Honey Select sweet corn is also still available, it's the only yellow corn we grow....why?...because it's just "killer".
Take care...hope to see you soon...stay cool
PS: Feel free to forward to friends and family. We appreciate your patronage.
Are you hungry for some apple eating? We now have Paula Red, similar to a MacIntosh and Red free, an early Jonathan type that's great for eating if you like a somewhat tart apple. They are also great for all cooking applications.
