The Orchard Nearest the Heart of Indianapolis since 1925! Celebrating 91 years of serving the Greater Indianapolis Area!
Established in 1925 by George and Edith Adrian and currently in its 3rd generation of family ownership. Adrian Orchards is still the "Orchard nearest the Heart of Indianapolis" and home to the Guinness Record Holder for "World's Fastest Apple Picker" George J. Adrian. Currently owned and operated by George J. & Monika Adrian, Adrian Orchards is still providing the Crossroads of America with the finest apples, peaches, cider and more for 90 years and counting!
And did you know
Adrian Orchards is home to the Guinness World Record holder for the fastest apple picker?.... It’s true! George J. Adrian picked 365 ½ bushels (15,351.5 lbs) of apples in 8 hours on Sept. 23, 1980. His record still stands today.
What a week...whew and what a weekend it's gonna be...HARVEST FEST this Saturday and Sunday for starters and we have started EMPIRE apples this week.
Starting Saturday we will have Red and Golden Delicious along with JONAGOLD.
We still have Jonathan, Gala, Golden Supreme and Macintosh...when these other varieties start we will have a veritable smorgasbord of apples...something for everyone.
We hope you can come and join us this weekend for the Harvest Fest...the tent is already up...it'll be open Saturday at 11am till 6pm and Sunday 12noon till 5pm...there will be lots to do...help us make it a great one.
If you'll be looking for me...I'm the red headed chicken with my head cut off.
Hope to see you soon...Take care...Mrs. A
ps. Pumpkin Patch opens on Saturday, too!
Well, we're off and running with fresh cider, Jonathan, Macintosh and Honey Crisp apples. A lot coming all at once for these old(er) bones. I guess that means fall is coming fast...I just move too slow !!!
Please remember our cider is not pasteurized, no preservatives, only pure juice, healthy and delicious, too! It must be treated like fresh milk and will last 7-10 days in the fridge.
The apples are freshly hand picked from the field to you. Can't be any better n' that. And with those fresh Jonathan, we made our scrumptious caramel apples...ready for you to enjoy!
As always, we appreciate your business!
PS. Feel free to forward to friends, family, etc. and like and share us on Facebook!
Harvest Fest is a mere 3 weeks away!! If you are interested in being a vendor, there are a few spots still open. Information is available on our website, in the store, or email Elizabeth Holloway at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also contact Elizabeth if you would be interested in volunteering for the event.
Take care and hope to see you soon...Mrs. A
It's that time of year again...George has started picking GALA apples. They are sweet and crunchy...ready for you to gobble up. We've just started them, so they are really, really, really, did I say really? GOOD They've had plenty of sunshine which means the sugars are there.
Also, we will have a few CONCORD GRAPES late Tuesday for a short time...great for jam, jelly, and juice!
Hope to see you soon...Take care..
Stay cool...Mrs. A.
White Peaches will now be available for just a short time. A true delicacy, white fleshed, sweet, and freestone, too! What more could you ask for? They make a beautiful pink jam and topping. Don't miss them, this is the last of the season for them.
Hope all are safe and well in light of recent storms.

Our own DAWN pears are ripe and ready now. These pears are a high quality dessert pear that is not available in the grocery store. Creamy, sweet, juicy...my favorite of all the varieties...they won't be here for very long...don't miss out.
ALBERTA peaches are also in now. A yellow freestone from Southern Indiana. Probably the last Indiana variety that we will have this year...very meaty and delicious.

Take care and hope to see you soon.
Enjoy this glorious weather....Mrs. A
